New and De novo Protocol Reviews: All new and de novo AUPs will be reviewed by Full Committee Review (FCR). AUPs must be submitted by the submission deadlines (see above) for consideration at the ACUC meeting. All new and de novo protocols must be submitted via eProtocol.
Annual Reviews: An annual review is conducted by the Chair and/or Vice Chair. A reminder email and the Annual Review form will be sent to the PI.
Amendments: Principal Investigators can submit amendments at any time. Amendment submissions are triaged every Monday at 8am as eligible for FCR, DMR or Administrative Review (as per the ACUC’s Policy and Procedures on Protocol Review).
- FCR Amendments: Amendments that require Full Committee Review will be assigned to an upcoming ACUC Meeting based on the submission deadlines listed above on the FCR Meeting Calendar.
- DMR Amendments: The DMR process take a minimum of one week; however, this timeframe is completely dependent on the response time of the reviewers and PIs.
- Administrative Amendments: The administrative review process takes a minimum of one day; however, this timeframe is completely dependent on the response time of the reviewers and PIs.
